The second meeting of the Board of Trustees was held in Malta on 29 February 2008. During this meeting members agreed that Malta be appointed chair of the SSNED and that  Barbados be appointed vice-chair of the Board of Trustees. Members also agreed to appoint a regionally representative eminent group of experts to draft a provisional Work Programme of the Network and to carry out a consultation process relating to the same Work Programme.  The Board also agreed to develop an Operational Procedures Manual relating to the Network’s overall operation, financial management and procurement, employment and outsourcing, monitoring and evaluation of projects and assessment of requests for technical assistance.  Click here to view the minutes of the second meeting.
